VW, Audi, Skoda, Seat, Cupra New-Gen ECU and DSG Unlocked

The locked Bosch MG1 and MD1 engine control units used in post-2020 Volkswagen group vehicles, along with new-generation DSG gearbox units, can now be read and written. Our solutions are ready for Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Seat and Cupra vehicles with 2.0 TDI, 2.0 TSI, 1.5 TFSI and 3.0 TDI engines.

Which ECUs and vehicles?

Bosch MD1CS004: Volkswagen Golf 8 (including GTD), Skoda Octavia IV, Seat Leon IV, Cupra Formentor and Audi A3 with the 2.0 TDI engine. Bosch MG1CS011, MG1CS111 and MG1CS163: Audi A3 8Y, Skoda Octavia IV, Cupra Formentor, Volkswagen T-Roc and Arteon with 1.5 TFSI and 2.0 TSI engines. Bosch MG1CS031: Audi A3, A4, A5 and Polo GTI with the 2.0 TFSI engine.

Bosch MD1CS014 and MG1CS002 / MG1CS008: 3.0 TDI Audi A6, A8, Q7, SQ5 and Volkswagen Touareg, plus higher-segment models such as the Audi RS5. Because the same model can carry a different ECU depending on year and engine, the software number is checked before any work.

DSG gearbox units

The new-generation DQ381 (DQ38x family) and DQ500 Gen2 DSG gearbox units can also be read and written. On vehicles such as the Golf 8 GTI, Octavia IV, Cupra Formentor and Audi RS6, the gearbox software can be matched to the engine software: shift character and torque limits are assessed for each vehicle.

What work can be done?

Stage 1 power and torque software, solutions for DPF, EGR and AdBlue faults on diesel engines, OPF / GPF fault solutions on petrol engines, and settings such as Pop & Bang and Vmax are assessed depending on the ECU variant. Every file is prepared from the vehicle's own original software; the original backup is kept.

Emissions-related software is offered only for uses permitted by applicable local law; road use and inspection compliance are the owner's responsibility.

How to apply

Send the vehicle's model, model year, engine and, if known, gearbox type to us on WhatsApp. Prime Chiptuning works on site in Istanbul and through branches and dealers in Turkey, France and Taiwan. Workshops anywhere can upload the original file to the ECU Prime file service.

Can the Golf 8 2.0 TDI be chip tuned?

Yes. The Bosch MD1CS004 used in the Golf 8 2.0 TDI can now be read and written. What can be applied is checked from the file read, depending on the vehicle's software version.

Is the DSG software done together with the engine software?

When torque is raised through the engine software, it is recommended that the gearbox torque limits are assessed as well. Because the DQ381 and DQ500 Gen2 gearbox units can be read and written separately, the two can be planned together.
