Fiat 500, Panda and Ypsilon FireFly Hybrid ECU Unlocked
The Marelli 11GF and 12GF engine control units used in Fiat and Lancia small city cars with the 1.0 FireFly mild hybrid engine can now be read and written. Our solutions are ready for the Fiat 500, Panda, Pandina and Lancia Ypsilon.

Which ECUs and vehicles?
Marelli 11GF: Fiat 500, Fiat Panda and Lancia Ypsilon with the 1.0 FireFly mild hybrid (MHEV) engine. This ECU is read and written by the bench method, removed from the vehicle. Marelli 12GF: 2024 model Fiat 500 and Pandina with the 1.0 FireFly mild hybrid; this ECU can be read and written through the OBD socket, using a special connection for the vehicle's security gateway.
Because the same model can carry a different ECU depending on year and engine, the software number is checked before any work.
What to watch on hybrid vehicles
In mild hybrid systems the engine software works together with the starter-generator unit and battery management. For this reason, when the software is prepared, the hybrid system's own protection and warning functions are left unchanged, and fault records are checked after the work.
What work can be done?
Stage 1 power and torque software and fault code solutions are assessed depending on the ECU variant. Every file is prepared from the vehicle's own original software; the original backup is kept and the car can be returned to factory software on request.
How to apply
Send the vehicle's model, model year and engine details to us on WhatsApp. Prime Chiptuning works on site in Istanbul and through branches and dealers in Turkey, France and Taiwan. Workshops anywhere can upload the original file to the ECU Prime file service.

No, this announcement covers only the Marelli 11GF and 12GF ECUs in the Fiat 500, Panda, Pandina and Lancia Ypsilon with the 1.0 FireFly mild hybrid engine. For other models, send us your vehicle's ECU information.
Is the hybrid system affected by the software?
The software is prepared for engine control; the hybrid system's protection functions are preserved and fault records are checked after the work.
