ECU Software Solutions for FPT and John Deere Marine Engines

Our ECU software solutions are ready for the FPT (Iveco) and John Deere marine engines widely used in work boats, fishing boats and yachts. On Bosch EDC7UC31, Bosch EDC7C1 and John Deere Phoenix L15 engine control units, we work from the engine's own software.

Which engines use which ECU?

The FPT Cursor series uses the Bosch EDC7UC31: the 8.7 litre Cursor C90 (C90 380, C90 410, C90 620) and the 12.9 litre Cursor C13 (C13 500, C13 825). The high-output 552 hp version of the 6.7 litre NEF N67 also has the EDC7UC31.

The Bosch EDC7C1 appears in the 346 hp and 420 hp versions of the N67 and in the Tector 4.0 litre and 5.9 litre marine engines. On the John Deere side, the Phoenix L15 unit is used in PowerTech 6090 marine engines (for example the 6090SFM85).

Because the same engine family can use a different unit depending on power rating and year, the engine label and ECU part number are checked before any work.

What can be done?

Power and torque software is planned around how the engine is used: durability comes first for work boats running under constant load, while take-off and cruising character matter most for leisure boats. Fault codes and software-related problems are assessed once the unit has been read.

Every file is prepared from the engine's own original software, and the original backup is kept. No fixed power gain or fuel saving percentage is quoted; the result depends on the engine's maintenance and how the boat is used.

How to apply

Send the engine model, power rating, serial number and a photo of the ECU label to us on WhatsApp. In Istanbul our mobile service can come to where the boat is located; in other regions our branches and dealers provide the service. Workshops working with their own tools can upload the original file to our ECU file service.

Which ECU does my FPT Cursor C90 engine have?

Cursor C90 marine engines use the Bosch EDC7UC31. For an exact answer, the ECU label and part number are checked.

Is software work done on John Deere marine engines?

Yes. We have solutions for the Phoenix L15 unit used in PowerTech 6090 marine engines. For other John Deere marine engines we need to check the unit type.
