Ford Ranger, Transit, Focus EcoBlue and Amarok ECU Unlocked

The Bosch MD1 and Continental SID family engine control units used in new-generation Ford EcoBlue diesel vehicles, and in the Volkswagen Amarok II and Transporter T7 that share the same platform, can now be read and written. Our solutions are ready for pickups, vans and passenger cars.

Which ECUs and vehicles?

Bosch MD1CP061: Ford Ranger IV 3.0 EcoBlue and Volkswagen Amarok II 3.0 TDI. Bosch MD1CS027: Ford Transit Custom 2.0 EcoBlue, Ranger IV, Volkswagen Transporter T7 and Amarok II. Bosch MD1CS005: Ford Focus, Transit Connect and Tourneo Connect 1.5 EcoBlue.

Continental SID212 / SID212EVO: Ford Ranger T6, Transit MK9, Kuga III and Transit Custom. Continental SID213 / SID213EVO: Ford Ranger IV 2.0 EcoBlue and Volkswagen Amarok. The ECU identity and software number are checked before any work.

For commercial vehicles and fleets

On models used as work vehicles, such as the Transit, Transit Custom and Ranger, the aim is mostly steadier pull under load and the resolution of AdBlue, DPF and EGR related faults. For fleet requests, vehicles can be grouped and planned by engine and ECU type.

What work can be done?

Stage 1 power and torque software and solutions for DPF, EGR and AdBlue faults are assessed depending on the ECU variant. Every file is prepared from the vehicle's own original software; the original backup is kept and the car can be returned to factory software on request.

Emissions-related software is offered only for uses permitted by applicable local law; road use and inspection compliance are the owner's responsibility.

How to apply

Send the vehicle's model, model year and engine details to us on WhatsApp; for fleet requests, include the number of vehicles. Prime Chiptuning works on site in Istanbul and through branches and dealers in Turkey, France and Taiwan. Workshops anywhere can upload the original file to the ECU Prime file service.

Can the new Ford Ranger be chip tuned?

Yes. The Bosch MD1CP061, MD1CS027 and Continental SID213 ECUs used in the Ranger IV can now be read and written. The ECU type in your vehicle is confirmed from the software number.
