Dacia Duster, Sandero and Logan Chip Tuning: EDC17C42, MD1CS006, DCM3.4 on 1.5 dCi and TCe

The Dacia Duster, Sandero and Logan are best-sellers. On the diesel side they use Renault’s 1.5 dCi; depending on model year the ECU is the Delphi DCM3.4, Continental SID305 / SID310, Bosch EDC17C42 or, on the new Blue dCi, the MD1CS006. The TCe petrol uses the Continental EMS3141. Solutions for Dacia are available at ECU Prime on these ECUs.
Which Dacia, which ECU?
- Bosch EDC17C42: 1.5 dCi. Stage 1, DPF, EGR, lambda, swirl (TVA), emission package; combined Stage 1 + DPF.
- Bosch MD1CS006 and MD1CS016: 1.5 Blue dCi. Stage 1, AdBlue / SCR, DPF, EGR; combined Stage 1 + AdBlue.
- Continental SID305 / 306, SID310 and Delphi DCM3.4: earlier 1.5 dCi. Stage 1, DPF, EGR and emission package.
- Continental EMS3141: TCe petrol. Gasoline particulate filter and DTC editing.
For details see our 1.5 dCi article, our 1.5 Blue dCi AdBlue article and our TCe article. Engine pages: Duster 1.5 dCi Stage 1, Sandero 1.0 TCe Stage 1. Models: Duster, Sandero, Logan, Dokker and Jogger.
The ECU type depends on model year and engine. The exact type is confirmed from the ECU label or by reading it with a diagnostic tool; send a photo of the label on WhatsApp and we will tell you which file applies.
Common faults
- DPF loading and endless regeneration in city driving
- Sooted EGR valve and cooler, loss of pulling power
- AdBlue / SCR warning and NOx sensor failure
- Boost pressure fault and limp mode

How it works
- Reading: upload the original file read with your tool, or visit one of our locations.
- Calibration: the file is prepared for the exact engine and ECU software version, checksum corrected; the original is archived.
- Application and check: fault scan and run / road test after writing.
Workshops get the same solutions through the ECU Prime file service.
Emission-related software is offered only for uses permitted by applicable law (off-road / closed-site use, racing, export, diagnostics); road use and inspection compliance are the owner’s responsibility.
