Mercedes, BMW and Mini New-Generation Bosch ECU Unlocked
The locked Bosch MG1 and MD1 engine control units used in post-2020 Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Mini vehicles can now be read and written. On some BMW units the work can be done without opening the ECU cover.

Mercedes-Benz
Bosch MD1CP001 and MG1CP002: 2021–2023 model vehicles such as the Mercedes A-Class W177 (including A 220 d and A 45), GLA 200 d, Vito 116 CDI and CLE 53. A full backup of the ECU can be taken, and the engine software and EEPROM can be read and written.
BMW and Mini
Bosch MG1CS003: BMW X3 G01, 5 Series G30 (530e), 7 Series G11, 8 Series G14 and Z4 G29; on this unit the work is done by the bench method without opening the ECU cover. Bosch MD1CP032, MD1CS001, MG1CS024, MG1CS049 and MG1CS201: BMW 420d G26, M2 G87, M4 G82, X2 U10, 118i F40 and Mini F57.
Because the same model can carry a different ECU depending on year and engine, the software number is checked before any work.
What work can be done?
Stage 1 power and torque software, solutions for DPF, EGR and AdBlue faults on diesel engines, OPF / GPF fault solutions on petrol engines, and settings such as Pop & Bang are assessed depending on the ECU variant. Every file is prepared from the vehicle's own original software; the original backup is kept.
Emissions-related software is offered only for uses permitted by applicable local law; road use and inspection compliance are the owner's responsibility.
How to apply
Send the vehicle's model, model year and engine details to us on WhatsApp. Prime Chiptuning works on site in Istanbul and through branches and dealers in Turkey, France and Taiwan. Workshops anywhere can upload the original file to the ECU Prime file service.
Can the BMW M2 and M4 be chip tuned?
Yes. The new-generation Bosch ECUs used in the BMW M2 G87 and M4 G82 can now be read and written. What can be applied is checked depending on the software version.
Does this apply to the Mercedes Vito 116 CDI too?
Yes. The Bosch MD1CP001 used in the Vito 116 CDI is covered; for commercial use, solutions for AdBlue and DPF faults are also assessed.
