On ATVs and UTVs the engine control unit (ECU) software is recalibrated on the vehicle's own original file. The original software is backed up; compatibility is confirmed by ECU type.
On ATVs and UTVs the engine control unit (ECU) manages fuelling, ignition, throttle response and, on most models, the speed limiter. The software recalibrates these maps on the vehicle's own original file; no hardware is changed.
Most of these vehicles have naturally aspirated engines. Without a turbo the power gain is limited; the difference is felt mostly in throttle response, mid-range pull and limiter settings. Rather than quote a fixed figure, we read the file first and tell you what can be done.
The original software is backed up and archived; the vehicle can be returned to its factory setting on request.
