Audi Q5 8R - 2012 - 2016 3.0 TFSI 272hp — Stage 1 Remap
Stage 1 re-calibrates the ECU software — boost, fuelling and ignition maps — within the factory hardware's safe tolerances. No hardware changes are required.
Solutions for this vehicle
Stage 1 Remap
Software that optimises the engine's power and torque maps within safe limits.
Stage 2 Remap
Advanced software matched to hardware upgrades such as a sport exhaust or induction kit.
Pop & Bang
Software that creates exhaust crackle on lift-off.
Speed Limiter (Vmax) Removal
Removing the factory top-speed limiter from the software.
DTC / Fault Code Removal
Switching off selected diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) in the ECU software.

About the Audi 3.0 TFSI V6 (supercharged and turbocharged generations)
The 3.0 TFSI was offered first supercharged and later turbocharged in the A6, A7, A8, Q5, Q7, S4 and S5. In both forms the engine leaves the factory with a clear performance reserve.
How a Stage 1 remap works on the Audi Q5 8R 3.0 TFSI 272hp
On supercharged versions Stage 1 recalibrates throttle, ignition and fuelling; on turbocharged versions boost pressure as well. The result is a linear but much stronger acceleration. The quattro system and automatic gearbox capacity are respected in the calibration.
Pre-remap checklist
- Supercharger pulley and cooling system (supercharged generation).
- Ignition coils and spark plugs.
- Gearbox and differential oil service.
This section is based on Prime Chiptuning workshop experience; the power and torque figures come from the catalogue measurement above.
