DAF XF and CF ECU Solutions: Delphi ETC3, Bosch MS6.2 and Cummins
The DAF XF and CF are among Europe’s best-selling tractor units, and the LF is common in city distribution. DAF uses Delphi, Bosch and Cummins ECUs depending on generation and engine. Solutions for DAF are available at ECU Prime on all of them.
Which ECU does your DAF use?
- Delphi ETC3: Stage 1, AdBlue / SCR, DPF, EGR, emission package and Stage 1 + AdBlue on Euro 6.
- Bosch EDC MS6.2: Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 on older XF and CF.
- Delphi DMCI and Bosch EDC7C1-C2: Stage 1; AdBlue on the DMCI.
- Cummins CM2150E, CM850 and CM2350A: Stage 1 and AdBlue / SCR on LF and CF.
The ECU type depends on model year and engine. The exact type is confirmed from the ECU label or by reading it with a diagnostic tool; send a photo of the label on WhatsApp and we will tell you which file applies.
Common faults
- AdBlue / SCR warning, NOx sensor failure and derate
- DPF loading and endless regeneration in city and short runs
- Sooted EGR valve and cooler
- Weak pulling on loaded climbs and high fuel use
