Sunward Excavator ECU Solution: AdBlue, DPF and EGR on the Cummins CM2350

Sunward excavators are spreading fast in earthmoving and infrastructure work, and they are one of the brands workshops ask us about most. Mid and large Sunward machines mostly use a Cummins engine with Cummins’ CM2350 ECU family. Solutions for this ECU are available at ECU Prime.
Which ECU and operation on your Sunward?
- Sunward, Cummins CM2350: fault code (DTC) editing.
- Cummins CM2350A: AdBlue / SCR, DPF, EGR and emission package; the same ECU is used on XCMG and Zoomlion machines.
- Compact machines: may use a different engine and ECU; send a photo of the label and we confirm it.
The ECU type depends on model year and engine. The exact type is confirmed from the ECU label or by reading it with a diagnostic tool; send a photo of the label on WhatsApp and we will tell you which file applies.
Common faults
- AdBlue / SCR warning and derate
- DPF loading and frequent regeneration after long idling
