About the PSA 1.2 PureTech turbo (EB2DT / EB2ADT)
The 1.2 PureTech turbo is the three-cylinder turbo petrol of the Peugeot 208, 308, 2008, 3008, Citroën C3, C4, C5 Aircross, Opel Corsa, Astra and Crossland, offered from 110 to 155 hp. An award-winning design, it produces strong torque for its size.
How a Stage 1 remap works on the DS 4 Crossback 1.2 PureTech 130hp
Stage 1 recalibrates boost, ignition advance and fuelling. The gain is clear on the 110 and 130 hp versions; mid-range acceleration and low-rev torque fill out. The calibration stays within exhaust temperature and knock limits.
Pre-remap checklist
- Condition of the timing belt, which runs in oil, the best-known sensitive point of this engine.
- Oil level and the correct oil specification.
- Ignition coils and spark plugs.
- Boost leaks and wastegate.
On engines past the belt replacement interval, the belt service comes first.
This section is based on Prime Chiptuning workshop experience; the power and torque figures come from the catalogue measurement above.
