Stage 1 Remap
Software that optimises the engine's power and torque maps within safe limits.
Stage 2 Remap
Advanced software matched to hardware upgrades such as a sport exhaust or induction kit.
Pop & Bang
Software that creates exhaust crackle on lift-off.
Speed Limiter (Vmax) Removal
Removing the factory top-speed limiter from the software.
DTC / Fault Code Removal

Prime Chiptuning applies the software at its own centres in Türkiye. Abroad, our partners carry out the work with the same files, and workshops can order the file directly.
About the BMW 1.5 / 1.6 turbo petrol (N13 and B38: 114i, 116i, 118i, 218i, 316i, 318i)
BMW's small turbo petrols power the entry levels of the 1, 2 and 3 Series: the 1.6-litre N13 shared with PSA (2011–2015) and the three-cylinder 1.5-litre B38 (2014 onwards), from 102 to 170 hp with hardware largely shared across outputs.
How a Stage 1 remap works on the BMW 1 Series F20 118i (1600cc) 170hp
Stage 1 recalibrates boost, ignition and fuelling. Lower outputs such as the 114i and 116i can approach the 118i level; low-rev torque fills out noticeably. The calibration stays within knock limits.
Pre-remap checklist
- Timing chain and tensioner on the N13 (a known Prince-family issue).
- Carbon build-up on the intake valves (direct injection).
- Ignition coils and spark plugs.
- Boost leaks and wastegate.
This section is based on Prime Chiptuning workshop experience; the power and torque figures come from the catalogue measurement above.
