The Hidromek HMK 102S is Hidromek's backhoe loader. The engine control unit (ECU) software is recalibrated on the machine's own original file; the original software is backed up.

A power remap on the Hidromek HMK 102S recalibrates the fuel quantity, injection timing, boost pressure and torque limiter maps. On a backhoe loader one engine feeds the front bucket, the rear excavator and the drivetrain; with more torque in reserve, rpm drops less when digging and roading.
Hidromek HMK 102S DPF, EGR and AdBlue fault solution
Backhoe loaders often sit idling between short jobs during the day; in these conditions the particulate filter (DPF) cannot clean itself and blocks. The EGR valve collects soot; with a NOx sensor or pump fault in the AdBlue (SCR) system the machine enters limp mode. The cause is diagnosed first; the software solution is applied according to the ECU type.
