The Delphi DCM is an engine control unit used in cars from makes such as Mercedes-Benz, Opel and Chevrolet. Prime Chiptuning always builds DCM files from the original read of the vehicle; generic files are not used.
Solutions offered for this ECU family include Stage 1 Remap, DPF Delete, AdBlue / SCR Delete, DTC / Fault Code Removal and Speed Limiter (Vmax) Removal. Which ones apply to your vehicle depends on the exact ECU variant, software version and engine; we check this from the read file before the work starts.
How a DCM remap is done
- The DCM is read by OBD, bench or boot depending on the variant, and the original software is backed up.
- The original file is modified for the vehicle, engine and requested solution; the checksum is corrected.
- The file is written, fault codes are checked and the vehicle is road tested.
- The original backup is kept, so the vehicle can be returned to factory software at any time.
