On BMW 2 serie Active Tourer (2014+) turbo petrol engines, Pop & Bang software produces controlled pops and crackles from the exhaust when you lift off. The intensity is adjustable; with engine and catalyst safety in mind, the original software is backed up and the result is checked on a road test.

Will it damage the exhaust?
