Claas Lexion Combine Harvester Tuning and Power Upgrade
The Claas Lexion is Claas's combine harvester range. The engine control unit (ECU) software is recalibrated on the machine's own original file; the original software is backed up.
Claas Lexion power remap
A power remap on the Claas Lexion recalibrates the fuel quantity, injection timing, boost pressure and torque limiter maps. On a combine the engine feeds the header, drum, sieves and straw chopper at the same time. With more torque in reserve, rpm drops less in dense or damp crops and forward speed is maintained.
Claas Lexion AdBlue fault solution
The harvest window is short and downtime is lost crop. Combines that run long hours in dust suffer from blocked particulate filters (DPF), EGR faults and NOx sensor faults in the AdBlue (SCR) system, all of which cause power derate. The cause is diagnosed first; the software solution is applied according to the ECU type.
ECU and compatibility for the Claas Lexion
Services with a verified solution for Claas in our library: Stage 1 Remap, AdBlue / SCR Delete and DTC / Fault Code Removal. The control units we work on in Claas machines include BOSCH EDC17CV41, BOSCH EDC17C53, PHOENIX L16 and TEMIC ZGS SERİE. The same model can carry a different ECU depending on build year and engine option, so we confirm compatibility for the Claas Lexion from a photo of the ECU label or from the file read out.
Where is the difference noticed on the Claas Lexion?
- Harvesting dense, laid or damp crops
- With the straw chopper engaged and on slopes
- Holding forward speed while unloading the tank
