Claas Jaguar Forage Harvester Tuning and Power Upgrade
The Claas Jaguar is Claas's self-propelled forage harvester range. The engine control unit (ECU) software is recalibrated on the machine's own original file; the original software is backed up.
Claas Jaguar power remap
A power remap on the Claas Jaguar recalibrates the fuel quantity, injection timing, boost pressure and torque limiter maps. On a forage harvester most of the engine power goes to the chopping unit; with more torque in reserve, rpm drops less in heavy maize and hourly output is maintained.
Claas Jaguar AdBlue fault solution
In the silage season the machine runs at full load for long hours. A blocked particulate filter (DPF), an EGR fault or a NOx sensor fault in the AdBlue (SCR) system causes power derate and keeps the trailer convoy waiting. The cause is diagnosed first; the software solution is applied according to the ECU type.
ECU and compatibility for the Claas Jaguar
Services with a verified solution for Claas in our library: Stage 1 Remap, AdBlue / SCR Delete and DTC / Fault Code Removal. The control units we work on in Claas machines include BOSCH EDC17CV41, BOSCH EDC17C53, PHOENIX L16 and TEMIC ZGS SERİE. The same model can carry a different ECU depending on build year and engine option, so we confirm compatibility for the Claas Jaguar from a photo of the ECU label or from the file read out.
Where is the difference noticed on the Claas Jaguar?
- Chopping dense, tall maize
- With a short chop length and the kernel processor engaged
- On slopes and soft ground
