SAME Dorado power remap

A power remap on the SAME Dorado recalibrates the fuel quantity, injection timing, boost pressure and torque limiter maps. Manufacturers sell the same engine block at several power levels within a range, so much of the difference between them is software. The calibration respects the limits of the cooling system, transmission and PTO.

In the field, most faults come from the emission systems: a particulate filter (DPF) that fills up during low-rpm and short jobs, an EGR valve clogged with soot, and NOx sensor, pump or heater faults in the AdBlue (SCR) system.
