Dieci Icarus 60.18 AdBlue, DPF and EGR Fault Solution

The AdBlue (SCR), DPF and EGR faults on a Dieci Icarus 60.18 telehandler were permanently resolved by the ECUPrime engineering team. Thanks to the on-site intervention, the machine returned to uninterrupted work on the job site.

The Problems

While the machine was working on site, the AdBlue system was throwing faults, the DPF (particulate filter) was going into regeneration continuously and there was a loss of power caused by the EGR. Warning lights were on and the machine occasionally went into limp mode, causing loss of work and time.

The Solution Applied

• The AdBlue (SCR) system fault was permanently resolved in software
• The DPF regeneration problem was eliminated
• The power loss caused by the EGR was removed
• The engine's operating characteristics were re-optimised

After the work the warning lights went out; the machine runs at full power, without interruption.
