Audi Q2 Pop & Bang Tuning
On Audi Q2 (2016+) turbo petrol engines, Pop & Bang software produces controlled pops and crackles from the exhaust when you lift off. The intensity is adjustable; with engine and catalyst safety in mind, the original software is backed up and the result is checked on a road test.

Frequently asked questions
Is Pop & Bang tuning available for the Audi Q2?
Yes, where the ECU on the Audi Q2 turbo petrol engine supports it. The ECU is identified first; Pop & Bang is usually applied together with Stage 1 and the intensity is set to your preference. The original software is kept.
Will it damage the exhaust?
An aggressive setting can. Thermal load on the catalyst, turbo and exhaust valves rises, so we keep the setting measured and limit it to the car's hardware.
Can it be done with a catalyst fitted?
It can, but we do not recommend it; raw fuel reaching the catalyst shortens its life. We explain this clearly before you decide.
Is it suitable for road use?
Noise and environmental rules apply. This work is intended for track and show use; responsibility for road use rests with the owner.
